Silk Nokshi Saree Tarsel Black

Our most demanding piece. The nakshi work across the pallu is drawn freehand and then embroidered by a single karigar over roughly three weeks — which is why we only make a handful each season. The silk is heavy enough to hold a sculpted pleat, and the hand-knotted tassels along the edge move beautifully as you walk. This is the saree people remember at a wedding.

Dry wash only

Wipe with a dry cotton cloth after a humid day and condition leather twice a year — we include a tin of our beeswax balm with every leather piece. Keep jute out of prolonged damp and air it in the shade, never in direct Dhaka sun. Any seam that opens, we restitch free of charge, forever.
